You must be Vigilant

Should you become a victim of identity theft, you will likely not know about the breach until you receive a call from a bill collector looking for a delinquent payment. This kind of identity theft leaves people in dire financial straits through no fault of their own.

Shred your mail and any important documents. Your street address, maiden name, last four digits of a social, and home phone number are all thats neede in some cases to get to your critical information.

Home phone numbers should never be given to anyone. Always use a mobile or work number. Email addresses should not contain maiden names or birthdays. Enforce this with your children and loved ones. The right identity protection plan will cover you in the event of a breach.
